This picture was taken half way between the Patchett place and the McChesney place. It was right about here when I was young and looked up in the night sky and, for the first time, saw the Milky Way.

The first time I saw this crater, I wanted to jump the railing and start hiking! On the right, you can see one of the two volcanos on the Big Island.
